LIFE OF A CHILD IN NECO HOME

IMG_5121

Namaste and Greetings. My name is Suman and I'm 12 years old. I study in class five. I secured first position in my grade. My aim is to become a doctor. I was born in rural village of Gurkha district. I lost my father when I was around 3 years old. My mother is mentally ill and so she is unable to look after me. That’s why I was brought to NECO Home.

I am very happy to be a part of NECO family. All the people here are caring and kind. I feel as if I am the luckiest kid in the world  because I got the resources, facilities, love and the affection that I could only dream of.

NECO FUNDRAISING

fundOn 10th July, NECO foundation, our USA Board Members, hosted the annual fundraising dinner program at the Los Angeles to support our children. The efforts were made by Dr.  Lee and his wife, Dr. Geola as well as our Treasurer Dr. Yazdani and President Mr. Bhatta.

WHAT HAPPENED ?

meetingThat was a great meeting and a wonderful dinner with many friends of NECO. Around 50 people attended in the event, all from Los Angeles and surrounding areas. There was music and poetry to set the tone for the serious part of the event, which was to talk about NECO.

The program began with the introduction of Dr. Geola, Dr. Lee and his wife and their experience during their visit to NECO a few year ago.
