Mission

Provide Love

Our mission is to lovingly provide orphaned children (between the ages of 5 to 12) with food, shelter, clothing, medical and dental care in a home-like setting. We then raise our children till the age of 18.

Provide Education

In addition, and more importantly, we focus on English language education and moral development. Unlike most other orphanages, we are devoted to much more than mere childhood survival. We focus on education and moral development because we believe that it is the only way our children can break their cycle of poverty, and become future productive citizens and
leaders of their communities. All our children attend a private English-medium school and are tutored on computers. This year’s tuition is $40.00 per month per child - additional for textbooks, supplies and uniforms. The more donations we receive, the more children we can bring into our program and the better the education that we can provide for them. With a firm foundation of English and computer skills, our children can be self-sufficient by age 18 (the age that the Nepalese government requires they graduate and leave the orphanage).
Character development is achieved with the assistance of upstanding members of the Kathmandu area through spiritual and value-based classes and an upcoming ‘Big Brother, Big Sister’ type program, which will help children reach their potential through one-to-one relationships with mentors.
