 DEAR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS, HERE’S THE LATEST UPDATE!

SPORTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

 

We are proud to let you know that five children of NECO successfully achieved Black belt of Taekwondo. Ratan, Sharmila, Chhoki, Anusha and Ram were honored with black belt in a small program held by NECO Home.

All of us want to congratulate the children and their instructor. You have made us proud and inspired the younger children to be more sincere and dedicate themselves to succeed.  They learn discipline, cooperation, sense of community and healthy competition by participating, it is not just sports, it is a lot more for our children.

NECO Taekwondo team also participated in Championship for the first time and won five medals altogether. Two players got second positions and three got third positions. NECO Kids came home with wonderful results along with the title "Most Disciplined Team."

FAREWELL TO THE VOLUNTEER

On 14th June, our volunteer Gillan Roncarelli visited us before she finishedp her trip to Nepal. She had taught various dance forms and Yoga to the children. As we all know, Dance brings multiple benefits. We want to send special thanks to Gillan for teaching our children and inspiring them to move towards healthy life, happiness and positivity

We are hoping to see her next year too.

 

GARDEN

The Garden was in poor condition before. We were unable to plant grass, flowers and baby trees since the garden was destroyed at the time of Earthquake.

This month we have made the garden look beautiful again by planting flowers, baby trees of fruits and ground covering grass. NECO Home is looking green and beautiful.
